Borobudur is a Buddhist temple located in Magelang, Central Java. It's popular among tourists all over the world, and is also one of UNESCO's world heritage sites. It is known for its overwhelming beauty, be it seen from its history, architecture, or myths.

This temple is said to be built in the 9th century during the reign of the Sailendra Dynasty. However, after being abandoned for centuries, the buildings became somewhat damaged. Luckily, in 1835, Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles decided to restore the temple to its former glory.

Borobudur, although still has minor damages, is now overseen by the Indonesian government and UNESCO. It's become one of the main attractions in Indonesia. Many people come to visit the temple, both domestic and foreign tourists.
